The Myrtle's flowers and lance shaped leaves with their blue-black berries combined with the hard needles and berries of the Juniper plant are the inspiration for this holiday collaboration.  While the Myrtle is used many times for garland it is also sacred in some cultures.  The Juniper bush, often used for protection has its berries used for drink flavoring and berry sauces for wild game.
